Gangle - Fully rigged model for Blender 4.4+
A fully rigged fanmade model of Gangle from The Amazing Digital Circus, built in Blender 4.4. Includes a .blend file. Rig is fully hand-made.
Included in the .blend file:
- Both a solid comedy mask and broken comedy mask
- Multiple saved poses and expressions
- A grease pencil object for eyebrows/wrinkles, with multiple saved expressions for editing
- A grease pencil version of her arms and legs, which use geometry nodes to convert a grease pencil line to her ribbons. (See last image above) (NOTE: This feature requires the "Grease Pencil to Curves" node, which was introduced in Blender 4.3. If you want to use this feature, you need that function.)
Want to see a video overview of this model? See this link: (NOTE: the beginning of this section shows off an earlier version of the rig. There is a snippet showing off the more updated version at the end of the section. The mask functions are almost identical, but the body works slightly differently)
New to using rigs in Blender? I wrote this beginner tutorial on everything you need to know! It includes lots of pics and gifs as necessary:
